Service Description
Becoming a parent is a major transition. Planning and preparing for baby after birth is something often overlooked; most focus on birth planning. Let us help organize your thoughts and needs so you feel ready when baby arrives. By 36 weeks we want you to feel like there is nothing more to do except sit back, relax, and enjoy the last few weeks of pregnancy. We can spend some time talking about pregnancy needs (prenatal yoga, childbirth education, hospital bag packing, etc.), however our main focus will be planning for postpartum. Examples of questions we can help answer: What do I need for recovery at home? How do I manage support and visitors? Setting expectations. What do I need from my partner? What types of outsourced support do I need? (postpartum doula, lactation consultant, mental health, pelvic pt, etc.) How do I get my home ready for baby? What the service includes: Consultation: Get to know one another and talk about some of things you are looking to achieve. Intake Call: Discussion about your intake form (completed in advance). Planning Session: I'll share, and we'll discuss, your personalized postpartum action plan with local resources. Monthly Calls (12-36 weeks): I will check in monthly to follow up and answer any questions you might have.
